some 15 years ago when I was hardly 12 years old a bloody bomb blast occuerd in peshawar saddar near wadud sons. I remember that I went with my to see the site of blast. I was so excited about that because I had never seen such place, nor did I hear about any such incident in my city before.
today it has become a routine matter in my city which was once famous for the peace and tranquility it had. the global war on terror has completetly changed the scenario, and has destroyed the peace of pakistan in general and of nwfp and peshawar in particular.

Not only Pakistan, look at Afghanistan, Iraq..... I think the war brought more destruction to these regions (and the world) and the numbers of lives lost is much higher, both in terms of casualties in US / allied forces and service men and the civilians in these areas.

The amount of money we used to bomb them, if it was used for education and micro finance the world would have been a much better place. I mean, just to kill a few terrorists we have killed hundreds and thousands of innocent people, we cant even count them and in addition to that we have managed to spread even more hatred and violence.

good point Zubair, a friend was telling me that when people find nothing in newspaper about big terrorism related headlines, they feel disappointed. the war on terror has even changed the thinking of our people.
