Surprise DOUBLE SAWARI BIKE RIDING BANNED FOR ONE MONTH OR FOREVER in Karachi?
I am much surprise and worried that DOUBLE SAWARI banned for one month ( which enforce almost 2 months backs ) before only open for not more than 2 weeks when sudden riots begins between 2 groups our City Govt without any fail banned the DOUBLE SAWARI which help them to control the crime.
But I am much surprise and shocked DOUBLE SAWARI first banned for one month but more than 2 months already passed but our concern authority have never realized what problems problem common people faced when such banned still continue in city like KARACHI which is mini PAKISTAN.
Those who are reaching office, work ship or shop than realized how they people face problem and tension to reach their work place, work ship when our AUTHORITY still interested to continue the banned. Such banned will give additional benefit to our City Police to catch those who are riding bike in DOUBLE SAWARI and want to extract amount from them othersie warn to face the fine or punishment.
I strongly demand for lift the banned before the August 14, 2009 and make sure such banned never impose which creates problem for own people but such banned never apply to our City Police. Which means in our country 2 laws exist one for the common citizen and another for those who are in authority.
I never heard or saw such banned never impose in any country yet. If any crime control by banning DOUBLE SAWARI than it should be introduce in West but Pakistan is only unique country which frequently apply this banned and claim they want to catch the criminals but justify how crime control by such banned.
More interesting to share our City Police more interest and invest all energy to check and catch those who are common people (innocent) especially bike riders. Checking for search of documents or hunt for DOUBLE sawari RIDERS in order to earn some additional money.
Why not our City Police not perform duty to catch the culprits or criminals and make sure not a single innocent become the torture or questioned un-necessary.
God know how long such ban in city continue and remember those authority passed order are answerable to God for what reason they passed BANNED orders first they inform continue for one month but more painful to share more than 2 months have passed but they never realized what problem those people faced who normally reach office in bike and now force to go through BUSES or Minibuses but never afford to pay the cost of TAXI OR RICKSHAW which is very expensive.
Even our trade bodies and association like FPCCI, KCCI or SITE Association never fight with the CITY GOVT and demand why they banned for such a long period because they never travel in bikes
