Why price hike in holy month of RAMZAN?
I want to ask question from all concern authority CITY DISTRICT GOVT or PRICE CONTROL COMMITTEE why always price hike during the holy month of Ramzan as traders want to enjoys additional profit and want to kill the middle class and common people.
What are reasons for price hike in Ramzan as our local Govt not sincere to control the prices or traders are more powerful?
Every common man want to buy some additional items for their family during IFTARI but such price hike force them to restrict their buying and only one or two additional items they can afford but as compare the rich class buy as many items for Iftari for their family members and no worry to face.
If a person keeps fasting and also offer 5 times pray but charged double profit than what a purpose to keep such pasting or pray. Islam is a religion which always encourage to help those who are needy or in problems. But sorry to say we all MUSLIMS and all mosques are HOUSE FULL during holy month of Ramzan but no one left for speaking lie, cheat or stop taking more profits. Such thing is not a Muslim can think but we regret perform with keeping fasting and also offer prayers.
Tell honestly what reward people get from God when they keep fasting plus offer prayer but not a common man get benefit from them but act more self fish and always eager how to become more rich and richer in the lesser period.
Learn from West how they reduce prices during their religious festival “CHRISTMAS” but more shameful in Pakistan all kitchen items, fruits and clothing item almost double during Ramzan and after Eid come to normal price range only catch double prices.
I suggest that our Local Govt should be strict and maintain a price which should be UNIFORM for all areas in Karachi and any traders caught charging over prices should be immediate basis fine but never allow him to skip by paying BRIBE.
Why deprive common and middle class to buy additional food items or clothes but our culture is always hurdle and main causes the PRICE HIKE during Holy month of Ramzan and remain such situation till Eid ends.
We think as MUSLIMS that those people who keep fasting and offer 5 time of prayers is enough and no question asked why they charged double profit?
