Peg, are you up to being captain? You were really the driving force and really got the ball rolling on this.

If not, I'm up to doing it as an alternate choice if decline the nomination.

Nice work folks!! We'll jump on the backend stuff and get that going right away and then send more instructions. Here's what I need you all to do at this point:

Pick/Elect/Appoint or whatever who will be your cities captain. This is a person with a few more admin privs and kind of our main point person for the city. They help us keep it up and running.

Also, everyone needs a metblogs account. Unfortunately it's a different system than this site, but if you've left a comment on any metblogs city in the last year then you have one. If you haven't, go to my.metblogs.com and register an account. This is important, make sure after you set up your account you post a comment (this activates it) on one of the cities - might I suggest oc.metblogs.com or la.metblogs.com since those are your neighbors. Once that is done, send your username and the e-mail account you used to whoever you nominated as your captain.

Who ever that captain is, should send me the list of all 10 usernames/emails and I'll get you guys set up as the initial team.

Other than that, you all have big plans to take over and be the most active/popular city in CA or what???
